Comment of Jonel Johnson:
My grandmother, a 77 year old native from Matthew Town, Inagua scorns the word “Picky Head’. Reason being as a child due to her short, tight curly hair she would be tormented by her schoolmates daily. It is her belief that the definition of Picky head is a female with short hair and the word is normally used to tease girls who have shot hair. Additionally, she views the word as unattractive and if you were called this word you should not be happy about it. She states that children would say to her “you should be the last one talking about how my hair looks with your picky head”.
