n. [Car. greedy, food-loving DJE; cf. OED sweet-mouthed fond of sweet-flavored things obs. 1611; the meaning seems to have shifted with that of SWEET; cf. also Sra. switmofo fish or meat as additional food WST; cf. Yoruba ẹnu rẹ̀ dun (lit. mouth his sweet) idem (Oyedeji p.c.)] a person who wants only the best food, as the meat; also used attributively: a sweet-mouth guy (Inagua, Mayag.)

I spoke with a person from Acklins at the age of 66 years old. He is quite familiar with the term sweet-mouth as he uses this to Describe his daughter. He would always use this term on his daugher because she tends to like any food that is sweet or delicious for example: cakes, candy, icecream, juices and so forth. A sweet mouth person is the easiest one to please he said.
