Inamae Smith a 66 year old resident of Bimini is familiar with the five fingers bush medicine. Ms. Smith says that five fingers is used to strengthen the body. She also recalls drinking five fingers as a child and giving it to her children. According to Ms. Smith five fingers leaf is boiled with water and made as a tea to build up your body from weakness. Her favorite ways to drink five fingers is by adding sweet milk or cream and sugar to the boiled five fingers and water.
