Comment of Traval Babbs:
I asked my grandmother who is 71 years old and from Mangrove Cay, Andros about the bush medicine Fever Grass. She is familiar with fever grass. Fever grass is excellent for making herbal, natural tea. It helps cure any pain associated with the stomach. It also helps in detoxifying the body. The fever grass can grow to be tall and are very sticky in shape. They are naturally green and turn brown when they start to die off. This grass is boiled with water and it has a pleasant smell and taste. You can also add sugar to the tea to sweeten if desired. It can also be stored in the refrigerator and heated up when ready to drink again.
