Comment of Javan Davis:
The person I interviewed is from Exuma and she is 72 years old. She is familiar with the term "heavy down". An example of how she used this term is "that lady is heavy down."

Comment of Rashae Smith:
The lady that i interviewed is 66 years old and resides in Nassau. She is familiar with this term and says it is when a female is pregnant. She also said this expression is linked with this saying 'why is lobster red' because when the pain hits the person, they will know why lobster is red. Since red means hot. For example, Ms. Rolle's daughter is heavy down.
