Comment of Sherelle Fernander:
The person that I choose to interview was my mother. She is 53 years old and is born in New Providence. My mother said that she is familiar with the term guava duff. She stated that guava duff is a Bahamian dessert. The dough, created using flour and water, has guavas placed into it. It is then placed in a covered pot for three hours to boil. The pot should not be uncovered until the after three hours. In addition, the sauce contains guavas and it may include rum.
