According to Mr Prince Mather age 78, he is not quite sure if this term is suppose to be bey or beyeh.He is not to familiar with this spelling if this word is suppose to be bey, he did say that the word bey is suppose to bey was used back in the old days to get the attention of someone. Instead of running on with hello, excuse me, hey there, they would simply say bey.
